HENRY COUNTY, Ill.-Illinois State Police Zone 2/East Moline Agents conducted Alcohol Countermeasure Enforcement (ACE) surveys at various establishments during the evening hours of November 8, 2012 in Henry County, Illinois. The purpose of ACE surveys is to determine which businesses may be selling alcoholic beverages to minors (persons under 21 years of age).

A total number of (9) locations were surveyed in Henry County Illinois. Of those businesses surveyed,

 

BJ’s, 526 1st Avenue, Colona, IL 61241

Country Store, 12705 County Road 2, Geneseo, IL 61254

Fareway Stores #58-1, 540 Pritchard Drive, Geneseo, IL 61254

 

were involved in the sale of alcoholic beverages to a minor. Store employees,

 

Jennifer N. Bouldin, age 23, Colona, IL 61241

Elizabeth C. Lively, age 49, Geneseo, IL 61254

Jennie E. Dale, age 47, Atkinson, IL 61235

 

were charged with Unlawful Delivery of Alcoholic Liquor to a Minor, a Class A Misdemeanor, and released with a court appearance pending.

 

Employees at the following establishments are to be commended for not selling alcohol to a minor after asking for identification:
